Day 1: Arrive Chennai, India 

Arrival at the Chennai International Airport in the evening, where you’re met with our representative. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Stay overnight.

Day 2: Chennai | Explore City Highlights 

After breakfast, head on a half-day tour of Chennai, formerly known as Madras. Fort of St.George, Marina Beach, Kapaleeswarar Temple,  Victoria Art Gallery, Bronze Gallery and Madras Museum. Also visit St. Mary's Church, the oldest Anglican Church in Asia, which was constructed in 1680 AD.

Drive to Mahabalipuram (1 hour approx ) in the afternoon. Check-in to the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3: Mahabalipuram | Visit Golden City of Temples

Have an early breakfast and proceed to visit Kanchipuram, the Golden City of Temples. Out of the original 1000 temples that were constructed over centuries, 125 still remain. Kanchipuram is also famous for its hand-woven silk fabrics.

In the afternoon, visit the coastal port Mahabalipuram that is adorned with numerous sculptures and temples in the South Indian style of architecture. Also see the famous Shore Temple. Return to hotel to rest, spend the evening at the beach. Stay overnight.

Tanjore- A City Full of Historical Legacies


Day 4: Drive Mahabalipuram to Tanjore

After breakfast, drive 6-7 hours to reach Tanjore, which was once the capital of the great Chola empire during its heyday. On arrival, check-in at hotel and spend rest of the day on your own. Enjoy dinner and oversnight stay at the hotel. 

Day 5 - Tanjore to Madurai | Explore En-route Attractions

After breakfast, proceed to see the ancient Bridhdiswara Temple which is now a World Heritage Monument. Next, drive to Madurai to visit the famous temple town of Trichy on the way. Here, visit the renowned Rock Fort and Ranganath Swami Temple. Next, proceed towards Madhurai, check-in at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 6: Madurai | Explore Beautiful Temples 

Welcome to the bustling city of Madurai, start your day with a wholesome breakfast at the hotel and continue to visit to the Meenakshi temple- a dazzling mazelike structure which is one of the largest temple complexes in India. Also visit the Tirumala Nayak palace where a 48 foot tall pillar holds the roof arcade.

Optional: You can also witness the elaborate Aarti ceremony at the Meenakshi temple in the evening. Rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. 

Thekkady - A Feast for the Sense


Day 7: Madurai to Thekkady | See Incredible Wildlife 

After breakfast, depart for Thekkady famously known as the Spice Village of India. Enjoy the beautiful landscape as your drive through the mountains and the spice and tea gardens. On reaching Thekkar, check in at the luxurious resort near the famous Wildlife Sanctury. There is boating facility at Thekkady where the boat will take you around the sanctuary through the Periyar Lake. Evening is to return back for dinner & overnight stay. 

Day 4 - Thekkady to Kumarakom | Experience Tranquillity 

Embark on a 5 hour on-road journey to Kumarakom after breakfast. On arrival check-in to a plush hotel and retire for the day. A small settlement, nestled in the backwaters, Kumarakom offers scenic views of the beautiful surroundings of Vembanad lake. We recommend you to take a boat trip on the lake to enjoy the backwaters that Kerela is so famous for. Dinner and Overnight stay at Kumarakom's hotel.

Day 5: Kumarakom | Rejuvinate Yourself in Spa 

Begin your day with a scrumptious breakfast and put your feet up to relax for the rest of the day. Spend your day, relaxing with a recommended Ayurvedic massage and other facilities.

Kerala is known for the variety of traditional therapeutic massages, which are both relaxing and healing and are indigenous to this region. Enjoy this natural way to refresh yourself, eliminate all toxic imbalances from the body and thus regain resistance and good health. Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel. 

Day 6: Kumarakom to Alleppey | Stay in House Boat

After breakfast, take a boatride to the Main Jetty to head to Kettuvallom in the house boat. Explore the backwaters on a cruise along the lakes and canals to Alleppey. Lunch, snacks and dinner on board. The boats are comfortablely furnished with an open lounge, bedrooms with attached baths and a kitchenette, and also manned with service staff. Overnight on board.

Cochin - Queen of the Arabian Sea


Day 7: Alleppey to Cochin | Cultural Introduction 

After breakfast, return to the Main Jetty point from where you'll be transferred to Cochin by road. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel to spend rest of the day on your own. 

Enjoy Kathakali Dance Show at Evening: This evening is scheduled to spend some quality time to know South India culture. You'll be transferred to Cochin Cultural Centre to witness spectacular traditional art form, Kalaripayattu with a soothing musical session. 

Day 8: Cochin | Centre for Keralan Arts 

After breakfast, set on a morning tour to explore the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea’, Cochin. With it’s magnificent harbours and islands connected by beautiful bridges and breezy ferry rides, the architectural richness of the Cochin connect its historical past to present.

Start with visiting the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch Palace and St. Francis Church, one the oldest European churches in India. A walk near the shore to visit the fishing shores to look at the elaborate Chinese fishing net structures called ‘Cheenavala’. 

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. 

Hassan- Temple City of Karnataka


Day 10: Hassan | Find Peace in Temples 

Wake up in the beautiful city of Hassan, located on the banks of the river YagachiIt derives its name from Goddess Haasanamba, the main deity of the region, and is a home to many temples. The 12th century Chennakesava Temple complex is the main attraction which is located at Belur in Hassan. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. 

Day 11: Hassan to Mysore | See Karnataka's Royal Heritage 

After breakfast, depart by surface to Mysore - one of the most enchanting cities of South India. Enjoy 2-3 hours drive from Hassan to witness royal heritage of this glittering city. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hote. 

Mysore | Half Day City Tour


Day 12: Explore City Highlights | Visit Mysore Palace

After breakfast, proceed for a half day city tour of Mysore. Begin with the magnificient Mysore Palace, also known as the Amba Vilas Palace, with its glamourous carved wooden doors and mosaic floors. The interiors are a kaleidoscope of stained glass, mirrors, gilt and gaudy colors. Return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay. 

Bangalore - Silicon Valley of India


Day 13: Mysore to Bangalore | Visit Summer Palace

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Bangalore airport to catch your flight onwards. En-route, stop for some time to visit Srirangapatnam town. Also visit Daria Daulat Bagh, his Summer Palace located just 1 km away. On arrival at Bangalore airport, move straight to the international airport to fly back to home.
