Classic India With Taj Mahal


Day 1: Arrive Delhi, India 

On your arrival at airport, you’ll be met by a tour representative who’ll take you to the pre-booked hotel through chauffeur driven car. Complete check-in formalities and relax as today’s entire day is at leisure.

Tomorrow onwards, you’ll be set on an exciting 10-days adventure where you’ll witness India’s cultural festivity along with a quick excursion to Indian wildlife. Dinner & Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi | Explore India's Bustling Capital 

Breakfast at Hotel. Later leave for full day tour of New Old Delhi. Old Delhi which was one of the capitals of Muslim India having monuments like the Jama Masjid, Red Fort(View from outside), Gandhi Smadhi and drive past the busy lanes of Chandni Chowk.

In the afternoon, leave for half-day tour of New Delhi designed by the British emperor. Visit the India Gate, Rastpathi Bhawan (President House) Government Buildings and the famous Qutab Minar. At last, return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi to Jaipur | India's 1st Independent City 

Have breakfast and leave your hotel bidding a farewell to India's resplendent capital, before making your way to Jaipur. This 6-hour on-road journey will take to the beautiful Pink City, which is also the first independent city of India. 

On arrival, check-in at the hotel- your home for two nights. Rest of the day is at leisure so do whatever you wish to do. Dinner & Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 4: Jaipur | Explore Pink City 

Breakfast at Hotel. Enjoy half day tour of Amber Fort followed by a visit to Jag Mandir. Later enjoy a short Elephant ride from the foothill till the fort and the beautiful fusion Of Mughal and Hindu style architecture. Later visit City Palace and Jantar Manta- the best of the five Observatories built by Jai Singh II. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel. 

Day 5: Jaipur to Ranthambore | See Bengal Tigers 

Early morning after breakfast drive for Ranthambore. Situated in Eastern Rajasthan, where the Aravali Hill ranges and the Vindhyan plateau meet, the Ranthambhore National Park was once the hunting preserve of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The Park itself covers over 400 sq. km and its scenery is very beautiful. 

After 4 hours of on-road journey, check-in at the camp/hotel, and after sometime proceed to the park for afternoon Game drive through jungle by Canters/Jeeps. Dinner & Overnight stay will be at the camp. 

Ranthambore | India's Wildlife Excursion


Day 6: Ranthambore | Bharatpur | Agra

After early breakfast, you'll be first driven to Bharatpur from Ranthambore, and then your on-road journey continues to reach Agra paying an en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri- the deserted red sandstone city was built by emperor Akbar in 1959 as his capital. 

After paying a visit to this abandon city, countinue to drive for Agra. On arrival, you'll be directly driven to visit The Symbol Of Love “TAJ MAHAL” & The Glorious "Red Fort". Dinner & Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 7: Agra | Jhansi | Orcha | Khajuraho 

 

Agra to Jhansi Via Train                                              

Today morning is at leisure. After breakfast, you'll be driven to Agra Railway Station to board a train to Jhansi. Upon Jhansi arrival, stop for some time for refreshments on your own.

After this, continue to drive back to Orcha, considered as one of the highlights of Madhya Pradesh. Drive pass Orcha Fort and Orcha Temple on your way to Khajuraho.  

Drive to Khajuraho                                         

Before leaving for Khajuraho, stop for some time to have lunch and continue again. Khajuraho is a small town in Madhya Pradesh, renowned worldwide for UNESCO site of Khajuraho Group of Monuments. Upon arrival, check-in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Khajuraho | Explore Western Group of Temples 

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a short transfer by Bullock Carts – the traditional means of transport is till widely used by the farmers to carry their produce to the market.

This fascinating Son-et-Lumière spectacle evokes the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and traces the story of the unique temples from the 10th Century to the present day, at Great Khajuraho Temples. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.  

Day 9: Khajuraho to Varanasi | Holy City of India 

After breakfast, leave for airport to connect flight to Varanasi. Late in the afternoon, tour Sarnath including visit the museum of Sarnath (In case flight is significantly delayed then sightseeing program will be adjusted accordingly). Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Varanasi | Explore India's Scared City  

The exciting time to visit the ghats is at down when pilgrims take their early morning dip – the city is coming alive, the light is magical at sun rise. Look out for the people on the ghats, young men going through contortionist yoga excercises, the Brahmin priests offering blessing. Take a boat tour on River Ganges at Sun Rise to experience this.  

Later continue visit to the famous Vishwanath Temple and Durga Temple. 

Afternoon Visit to Explore City's Other Attractions, including Bharat Mata (Mother India) Temple, Birla Temple and University Area before making your way to Airport to board flight to Delhi. On your Delhi arrival, you'll be transfered to local restaurant for dinner. 

Flight Time! Later after dinner, you'll be transferred to International airport to connect flight back home.
